Ex-Trump Adviser Bannon Calls for Netanyahu’s Son to Join Iran Frontlines

(MENAFN) Steve Bannon, a former adviser to US President Donald Trump, has called for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s son, Yair Netanyahu, to be expelled from the United States and deployed to the front lines as US-Israeli operations against Iran continue.

Speaking on right-wing streaming platform Real America's Voice, Bannon questioned why Yair was vacationing in Miami amid the ongoing strikes.

"Netanyahu's kid down in Miami, turf him out tomorrow," he said, urging the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to intervene. "Where's DHS when you need them? Get him back there. Put a uniform on him. Let's have him in the first wave," Bannon added.

He also criticized princes from Gulf Arab states allied with Washington, suggesting they, too, should be removed from cities like London and sent to fight in the Gulf if the US proceeds with potential ground operations.

Neither Yair nor his brother Avner has completed Israel’s mandatory military service, despite being of eligible age.

Bannon served as a senior adviser during Trump’s first term and continues to be a prominent figure in the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement.

Since Feb. 28, the US and Israel have carried out airstrikes on Iran, resulting in more than 1,340 deaths, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, according to reports. Iran has retaliated with drone and missile attacks on Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, causing casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions to global markets and aviation.
